Daily Prompt: INTJ

Do parties and crowds fill you with energy, or send you scurrying for peace and quiet?

First of all, I know I’m old, but somebody please explain to me what INTJ stands for?

In my younger days, I could party with the best and hold my own. They may have energized me, but mostly I remember being ‘The Living Dead’ the next day.

Crowds, now, make me anxious, jittery, and nervous. In my older years, I yearn for peace and quiet. If I party at all, it is usually just with my husband, two of my daughters, or my friend. I know, I’m boring in my old age. Oh well, I’m happy and prefer it that way!

  2. It’s one of 16 Myers-Briggs Type Indicators. (Psychometric Indicators) Out of all 16, DP chose my own type to hold up as an example 🙂

The types come in paired opposites – like Introvert/Extrovert Thinking/Sensing

    INTJ is Introversion:Intuition:Thinking:Judgement

Try Wikipedia for a fuller explanation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator

I am def not a party person, and never was.

    1. Thanks so much for explaining. I am vaguely aware of the 16 Myers-Briggs Type Indicators, but can’t remember them at will. I always have to look them up. 🙂
