1 A Divination at Full Moon

The Full Moon in Scorpio in opposition sun in Taurus is inclined to brooding moods and silence. Also, according to statistics, this months full moon sees mental asylums and police stations filled with more lunatics than usual. So keep your radar up for those who live on the edge of this fine line as some will surely tip over. Luckily Mars is not aspected in any adverse way, and he is only in the lower octave of Pluto – the ruler of the may full moon.

The Sun and the moon represent our ego and identity (sun) and our deeper self and our soul (moon). The divine masculine force and the divine feminine force in all their life giving ways. The may full moon in Scorpio pulls us deep into the underworld and the temporal reality of all things, whereas the Taurus sun brings in the practicality of everyday life. Somewhere in the middle is the balance we are being asked to walk, and what better time to do this so close to the May Day celebration of Beltane (N.H.) and Samhain (S.H.); the ancient celebration of the two that are the one.

Neptune lends a helping hand this month trining the moon and encouraging us to work with dreams and imagination. Moon square Saturn gives us the discipline to stay focused and structured whilst Mercury is in hard aspect to Neptune and Saturn, making sure we stay aware this month of right thought, right words, and right action.

This may full moon is a perfect time to perform ritual, to let go of the intense, passionate loves and hates of your past. Let go of the past hurts, resentments and the guilt. You can’t change the past so why let these wounds hold you back from a fruitful and loving future. Relinquish control. Hand it all over to the lord of the underworld and see what light is reflected from this deep and soulful full moon. © by Astrologer Jyoti Eagles

We’Moon

Sunday, May 3rd – Full Moon in Scorpio

When the moon’s in Scorpio, we get focused. The mood broods, deepens, and grows a sultry, investigative, introspective edge. We lose patience with inessentials and are suspicious of inauthenticity; we may deal with primordial feelings, and need boundaries respected. It’s time to prune, water, dig, investigate and contemplate.

Waning Moon in Capricorn

When the moon’s in Capricorn, our work beckons. The mood is competitive, task-oriented, managerial, organizational, and serious. It’s time to set and achieve short-term goals towards long-term horizons. Focus on one’s personal best, set and accomplish clear, achievable short-term goals. Support one another’s work, build structure and find the humor within.

Venus enters Cancer

Venus is our recognition of love, art and beauty. Venus is harmony in it’s expressed form, as well as compassion, bliss, and acceptance.

Cancer Sun, you’re an emotional leader; you can teach us to nurture ourselves and others, though you’ll need to learn self-care and to believe in your own enduring strength. Caring, creative, protective and self-protective, you swim best in the depths.

May 11, Mars enters Gemini / Waning Moon in Aquarius

Mars is our sense of “Get Up and GO!” It is the capacity to take action and do; it represents being in motion. It can also affect our temperament.

Cross-pollinate as Mars enters Mercury-ruled Gemini, opposes Saturn on May 11th, and squares Neptune May 25th; our energy may scatter easily, but so will gems of information.
Under Mutable Air Gemini we scatter our thoughts to the wind, germinate ideas, and learn to communicate . . . adaptability, nervous energy, mental sparkle, ingenuity, and sense of humor get the word out and help us understand one another. Breadth and versatility of ideas is a Gemini gift; we need to bring depth and concentration.

This recipe aids with energy, dealings with family members, ideas, learning, and quickness of thought.
Taurus
Sunday – May 17th, 2015
New Moon in Taurus

This May new moon has the potential to be a very deep, mystical, magical and a visionary experience. And after the intensity of the Scorpio may full moon and the end of the eclipse season, the field begins to settle mid-month.

Mercury will have moved into Gemini and we will have wings on our dancing shoes. With Mercury in Gemini and Venus in Cancer trining Neptune on the 17th May, we have a marvellous moon for spell-making and seed planting.

In your New Moon Ritual may 2015, visualise the pattern as an arrow head with Venus at the point, Pluto providing the thrust and Mercury / Jupiter as the barbs or guidance system. Contemplate what it is that you want to achieve or let go of and aim this arrow at your passion or desire, thrust with full power and watch it fly to the target. By the June full moon you should have some kind of reply from the sky gods. © by Astrologer Jyoti Eagles

When the Moon’s in Taurus, our bodies, our garden and our earthly connections need attention. The mood is stubborn, creative, fertile, and sensual, so slow down, get grounded, put in steady work, tend the body and feed the senses. Nurture rather than push. Plant seeds or ideas.
New Moon Oil Recipe
Add the following essential oils to 1 ounce carrier oil:
15 drops Patchouli
15 drops Pine
15 drops Ylang Ylang

May 18—Mercury goes retograde
Mercury is “The Thinker,” and involves our communication skills: what we say, our words, our voice, and our thoughts, including the Teacher/Student, Master/Apprentice mode. Mercury affects how we connect with all the media tools of the day—our computers, phones and even the postal, publishing and recording systems!

May 18–June11: As Mercury retraces its steps in Gemini, take the opportunity for a second look at how you are tending friendships. Redefine peer support to include the inner children.

Sun enters Gemini (May 21–June 21): Cross pollinate. Under Mutable Air Gemini we scatter our thoughts to the wind, germinate ideas, and learn to communicate with our sisters and brothers. Breadth and versatility of ideas is a Gemini gift; we need to bring depth and concentration.
If you’re born under the Gemini Sun, you can talk to anybody; your adaptability, nervous energy, mental sparkle, ingenuity, and sense of humor get the word out and help us understand one another. Your challenge is to know your own mind and soul.

Gemini Year at a Glance: Difficulties you encounter in relationships this year generally arise from your own unattended issues; blaming others just gives them power over you. The three mercury retrograde periods are particularly fertile times for uncovering and resolving root causes or revelations about more purposeful and fruitful connecting. This is an excellent year for artistic, musical, mystical Gemini—be willing to step out of the herd to commit to your own goals. You may have focused on the wrong audience, clientele. Be intentional about the people with whom you work. Humanitarian projects will require both faith and discernment.
