Moon in Taurus — Wednesday through Friday
Full Moon in Taurus — Thursday
When the Moon’s in Taurus our bodies, our garden and our earthly connections need attention. The mood is stubborn, creative, fertile, and sensual, so slow down, get grounded, put in steady work, tend the body and feed the senses. Nurture rather than push. Plant seeds or ideas. One born under a Taurus Moon channels earth mother steadiness and comfort, and can lend her strength to others. She knows the worth of things, and knows how to nurture beauty. Her challenges are to stay fluid and flexible, to cherish without being possessive, and to trust in the unseen world.

Taurus

The house is sleeping,
A shadow comes into my room.
It’s just a whisper.

The moon shines through the window,
Nobody but a perfume.

Moon in Cancer —
Monday through Wednesday
When the Moon’s in Cancer we connect with our tender sides and process emotional backlog. In response we can either get crabbily defensive, or trust our strength and nurture ourselves and others. It’s time to water, plant, fertilize, bathe, cook, and listen to our gut instincts.

One born under a Cancer Moon naturally dances with the tides. She’s connected to the Great Mother archetype, but may mother communities as well as individuals. Her challenges are to love as an equal, not as a parent or child, and to move past safety and defensiveness into her naturally oceanic understanding.

Sun & New Moon in Sagittarius — Saturday
During Mutable Fire sign Sagittarius, we step out of Scorpio’s cave, reach for the bigger world, freely speak our truth and celebrate existence. Sagittarius asks us to play, explore gratitude, commune with nature; our challenge is to not lose focus in the process.

Sagittarius

On Saturday morning November 22, at 7:32 AM EST, a New Moon occurs early in the fire sign of Sagittarius. A new moon symbolizes new beginnings when you look at old goals and set new ones. It is a good time to contemplate upon your life. The meaning of a new moon is the opportunity to start anew and refresh your dreams and desires. It is a time of magic!

It’s a time when we can focus on some of the constructive traits of the sign of the Archer – optimistic, enthusiastic, adventurous, honest, outspoken, independent – and consider how to positively incorporate these qualities into our lives. Now, we can focus on goals that will increase our understanding and awareness, give us courage to expand our horizons, and gain confidence and optimism through a broader perspective. We can too easily get lost in the details of mundane existence

On the evening ofthe New Moon fill a glass with pure clean water. Hold your filled glass and take a moment to stand before any sacred space that you have set up or is special to you and breathe into your center – that deep internal place that is the source of your intent and where all change is possible. Internalize the knowing that All Water is One Water, with the power to cleanse and purify, to wash away the dust of all that was. Know that water always seeks to flow and in so doing erodes away all the blocks and obstacles that hinder its progress.

Fill yourself with all the thoughts of change that help this world to be better in all ways. Bring up all the ways that you can help to foster and create that change, not only within but also in your daily life to the world around you. Allow those intentions and energy to flow into the water that you hold.

Add to its power by singing, drumming or raising energy in your own unique way. Allow your energy to infuse the remaining water within your glass while deeply knowing that all water is connected. Remember that all water is one water, and that the water of our bodies is the same as the sea and the rain and the river. The energy of water flows and returns to you like a great tide, the waves of true and undeniable change that begins with your own personal divinesource.

Drink some of the water in your glass and allow the energy to infuse all parts of your inner self, knowing that you raising your vibration to a higher level.

The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, hope, faith and optimism. It is an important night energy wise as it sets the pace for the entire lunar cycle. This means it’s also a great time to work with Spirit.

Guest Post by Anna Williams

The new moon energy is one of gentle revelation & intention.
Sister Moon is our guide.
She is the Pale Priestess The Night Queen who righteously    returns us to Ritual.
It is she who watches over us and imparts her wisdom through us reminding us of the wonders of rhythmic cycles.

As we look to the celestial beings & feel them shine down upon us we come to understand that they represent our spiritual seeds.
These Stars Of Gold reflect our own radiant intentions our heartfelt wishes & our dreams.

I like to prepare for a new moon ritual not long after Father Sun descends.
A space is cleared and the dance of essential oils in the diffuser begins!
Choosing essential oils for this ritual is intuitive & May change come the next new moon.
There are two groups of oils I would be drawn to.
The first are oils that sweep clean and offer fragrances of freshness & clarity.
The second are oils that would propel us to earth centre so that earth wisdom is activated within us.

NEW MOON BLEND :

7 drops peppermint
4 drops eucalyptus or Fragonia
2 drops Lemon
1 drop White Sage
1 drop black pepper

Use this blend to cleanse & to clear & to create new pathways.
Use this when you are sure of your new intentions & are ready to release them during the New Moon ❤

NEW MOON BLEND (2nd version) :

7 drops Vertiver
3 drops Sandalwood
3 drops Wild Orange
2 drop Patchouli
1 drop Fragonia

Use this blend when you want to set new intentions but are unsure which New directions you wish to embark upon.
This blend will return you earth wisdom which will awaken your inner Medicine Woman/man.
You feel with this blend that Mother Earth literally is holding you. She will take away all that you cannot carry & remove old wounds so that new intentions may flow through you.

🌿🌿🌿

Brightest Blessings on your new Moon
In loving Joy
Anna ❤
