Today’s Aromatherapy Tip of the Day: November 20, 2013 is Essential Oils that help with Giving and Letting Go.
GIVING AND LETTING GO
When you give in prayer, be it adoration, gifts, praise, secrets, supplication, or words, do not expect anything in return. You may be blessed, you may not, But giving in expectation is bargaining and bribery, which has no place in the spiritual realm. Give generously, because you want to.
True prayer also involves letting go of that part of ourselves that ties us to the cruder vibrations and prevents us from contacting our higher self or spirit, the voice of which is more easily heard in heaven. It is better to give up preconceived ideas, because spirituality is an adventure into vast unexplored territory, and individual to each person. There is no need to give up your conscious self, only to offer your whole and higher self.
ESSENTIAL OILS TO FACILITATE LETTING GO
Use an essential oil or a blend of 2 to 3 essential oils with 1/2 ounce carrier oil. The following essential oils work to help facilitate letting go:
Cardamon, Carnation, Coriander, Cypress, Juniper, Lemon, Myrtle, Pine, and Tuberose.
These Essential Oils can be used alone or blend 2 to 3 in a Carrier Oil. The Essential Oil or your carrier oil can be used in a variety of ways:
Anointing yourself, Aroma Lamps, Bath, Body Perfume, or simply anoint the palm of your hands for prayer.
Look back over our section on Spiritual Uses of Essential Oils, for amount of oil to use for each purpose.
Next, we will discuss Creating Your Spiritual Haven.
