Lunar News August 1, 2016
Tues. Aug 2nd:
- New Moon in Leo
- Mars moves unto Sagittarius
Try this out. Let go of everything around you. Let go of everything in you. Let go of the body. Let go of space. Let go of time. Just hang out in Noplace Notime. Aaah . . . what a treat! Here the Cosmos is wide open. If we like, we could indeed begin to harvest all we physically/psychically/energetically planted months ago in the ground of our lives. . . .
. . . Lughnasadh is a Holy Day of protecting and rechoosing what it is we will ultimately harvest. Nothing is set in stone. Everything is up for our most outrageous imaginations.

New Moon in Leo
By Day: the Moon’s sign sets the emotional tone. Those Born Under: Our natal Moon sign describes what makes us feel at home, how we process emotion, and how we handle our daily life.
Leo by day: Life becomes performance art. We are more ready to reach out, be seen, and engage the comedy and tragedy of life, though we may have to turn down the melodrama. The vibe is extroverted (egotism can hide quiet insecurity), warm-hearted romantic, and engaged.
Tuesday, August 2:
A day of new beginnings as Mars enter Sagittarius and the Sun and Moon conjunct in Leo. Suddenly we can let go of some wounds of the past and turned toward enthusiasm of the future. Optimism may not be an illusion and may be seeing something more clearly, what do we want to be honest about what we want to speak clearly with weird we want to how where do we want to shine in the year ahead. Traveling and exciting events.
Mars moves into Sagittarius
Mars: will to act, initiative, ambition
Mars is our sense of “Get Up and GO!” It is the capacity to take action and do; it represents being in motion. It can also affect our temperament.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 –Dec 21): Wander. Under Mutable Fire Sagittarius, we want to expand our horizons, travel in mind, body, or spirit, to commune with strangers and with the natural world. The mood is restless, cheerful, friendly, and outspoken. Explore gratitude.
Waxing Half Moon in Scorpio Wed. the 10th
Moon in Scorpio by day:
Our focus, wit and temper sharpen. The mood is broody, sultry, possessive, introspective serious with dark humor. We want to research, look under the rocks, look at the worst-case scenario, and know we’re strong enough to handle it.
. . . Wednesday, August 10: What an interesting day to ferret out information, to study, to understand, investigate as Mercury trines Pluto, lord of the depths. Feel the strong torque of competing willpowers and try not to catch people in the crossfire. It will not be possible to make everybody happy at once, and it will be easy to focus on the differences rather than connection, but we can state our position and agree to disagree. Give people room for acceptance, don’t make them try to justify their need to go what looks like the wrong way, because they will only get more adamant in their position. Grant one another a long of space. It furthers to have small challenges we face together rather than make each other the challenge.

Full Moon in Aquarius the 18th
Aquarius by day: Relax, check in with community, network; the vibe is friendly, open-minded but stubborn, political but not intimate. Have meetings, work with teams, discuss philosophy, find new allies and common goals, just keep emotional expectations light.
