2019 Year at a Glance for Scorpio
(October 23 – November 22)
In the beginning of 2019, you may be feeling anxious and riled up. Release the stored-up energy in a process of physical healing rather than trying to be productive with it. Channel your feelings using art, imagery, and symbols to gain insight into what’s stressing you out.

This year, Jupiter brings a shift of consciousness to what you value. New resources—whether material or energetic—bring the potential to create greater security. Learn to accept the generosity of the universe and how blessings may come in unusual ways. On the spiritual level, you can examine your beliefs about money and resources, releasing binary labels like “success” and “failure.” Through Saturn and Pluto’s guidance, you’re learning about boundaries in communication, like asking for what you need and saying no to unfair demands. . . .  excerpt Rhea Wolf  © Mother Tongue Ink 2018 W’M 2019 pg 155

Saturday: This day challenging Moon square Mars aspects instigate irritability, willfulness, anger, hurry, a competitive or contrary attitude. Cure: exercise, chop wood, take a brisk walk, acknowledge desires or frustrations, and then finesse that argument. Exercise awareness. Mars is our will to act, show initiative and ambition

Sunday: Choose supportive Moon trine Venus aspects to be diplomatic or nurture romance. They warm our hearts and add sociability, cuddliness, compassion, creativity and good taste. Venus is our relationships, love, sense of beauty and empathy.

Positive aspects of Moon trine Mercury make this a good day to  travel, talk or communicate. They loan us speed and consciousness, the ability to think things through, help us bring our minds to any problem and find an answer. Mercury is all about communication travel and thought.

Monday: With a waning half moon in Cancer our family, home, emotional awareness and nourishment become the focus. We need time in our shell and with our familiars.

Tuesday: Moon sextile Mars affects our will to act, show initiative and ambition. Do you need to work out? Take a stand? Get physical? Supportive Moon/Mars aspects give us strength, protectiveness, help us lift rocks, spark passion, establish clear boundaries.  Challenging Moon square Venus aspects can bring social awkwardness, hot or cold emotions, longing, questionable aesthetics. Cure: perform a random act of kindness, diplomacy, art therapy.

Wednesday: The sun moves into Scorpio and challenging Moon square Mercury aspects bring a tendency to get lost in the mind and inspire glitches in all things Mercurial; we can get more edgy, irritable, anxious, scattered, diffused, glib.Reconnect mind and heart.

Thursday: Do you need to be diplomatic? Nurture romance? Create? Choose supportive Moon sextile Venus aspects. They warm our hearts and add sociability, cuddliness, compassion, creativity and good taste.

Friday: Positive Moon sextile and Mercury makes this a good day to travel, talk or communicate. This  will loan us speed and consciousness, the ability to think things through, help us bring our minds to any problem and find an answer. Mercury is all about communication travel and thought. excerpts adapted from Heather Roan Robbins’ WM 2018 pgs 226 & 15-17 & WM 2019 pg 16

Mercury turns retrograde on Halloween. It has already begun to slow down and enter its shadow, the part of the zodiac through which it appears to back up, and we can feel everything slow down and get a little murky. Start Mercury retrograde survival skills early; If there’s tension, check for misunderstandings, pad the schedule with a little extra time and confirm all reservations and travel plans. Pay extra attention to important communications to make sure they get where they’re supposed to go. For the next six weeks it’s a good time to research, check our facts, and have some objective material to work with in case anyone starts a fight . . . Mercury, instead of spending its usual three weeks in a sign, will spend almost 10 weeks in Scorpio. Mercury entered Scorpio on October 3-gets to the end of Scorpio, retrogrades October 31, appears to back up to early Scorpio, turns direct November 20 and traverses Scorpio again until it enters Sagittarius on December 8. Mercury in Scorpio brings out our inner detective helps us investigate and ferret out hidden information, but never forgets a perceived wrong. . . .  In these last two weeks before Mercury retrograde let’s keep the communication lines open. A talkative Gemini Moon which trines the Sun in Libra on Friday can help us clear a backlog. Use this window of opportunity to share thoughts, get paperwork in order, and get on the same page with teammates. Over the weekend a more introspective, cozy loving Cancer Moon turns our thoughts inwards and towards work needed in our home and homeland aided by Mercury sextile Pluto and Venus sextile Saturn. Take time alone or have deep conversations which get to the root of the matter. Curiosity wants to investigate mysteries and paranormal phenomena, and our curious detective nature could ferret out missing objects or hidden information.
