Look at Moon’s aspect with another planet; within an hour of completing one aspect the moon reaches for the next planet, forms a relationship with it, and our daily life and mood are tinted with that interaction. Like all relationships, some are easier than others.
Mindful Moon Watching
La Luna is our constant companion. Over eons sentient life has adapted to her rhythmic waxing and waning cycle of reflected Sunlight. She is a magnet for our attention. Like a collective pineal gland, which regulates our sleep, the Moon, glistening deep in the night, modulates the pattern of our waking (conscious) and sleeping (unconscious). As she casts her enchanting spell, we awaken to witness the increasing heights and depths of our own inner tides. The interplay of the Sun and Moon in the firmament above offers us a matrix into the realms of relatedness and presence. It is a reminder that, like the Sun and Moon, we are a relation-ship participating in the events of our life.
Sunday: Supportive Moon/Venus aspects warm our hearts and add sociability, cuddliness, compassion, creativity and good taste.
Good relationship or aspect between Mercury and the Moon loans us speed and consciousness, the ability to think things through, help us bring our minds to any problem and find an answer.
Tuesday: Mars is our will to act, initiative, ambition. Supportive Moon/Mars aspects give us strength, protectiveness, help us lift rocks, spark passion, establish clear boundaries.
Venus is our relationships, love, sense of beauty and empathy. Challenging Moon/Venus aspects can bring social awkwardness, hot or cold emotions, longing, questionable aesthetics. Cure: perform a random act of kindness, diplomacy, art therapy.
Wednesday: Moon phases are really a Sun-Moon relationship. The Sun energizes all Moon things: the public, nurturance, home, intimacy, habit, and the tides of emotion. Supportive aspects ease the emotional realm; challenging aspects can create tension between how we feel and the events around us.
Challenging Moon/Mercury aspects bring a tendency to get lost in the mind and inspire glitches in all things Mercurial; we can get more edgy, irritable, anxious, scattered, diffused, glib. Cure for Moon/Mercury discomfort: Reconnect mind and heart.
Friday: Today is the day to be diplomatic, Nurture romance and Create. Supportive Moon/Venus aspects warm our hearts and add sociability, cuddliness, compassion, creativity and good taste.
The Moon is about our inward sense of self, emotions and psych. When in watery Cancer our sense of family, home, emotional awareness and nourishment are enhanced. We need time in our shell and with our familiars.

The weekend begins with a fresh, feisty new Moon in Aries and opens a new chapter. Launch. Step forward. Aries brings that rebellious spirit of the daffodil and plum blossom surging back to life after a long winter, starting life over again with deep old roots and fresh growth.
This new Moon may spark a flash of temper or rebellion, or just a need to procrastinate and do things our own way. It encourages us to rebel against the limitations of our life, the dysfunction of our world, and boldly step where we’ve not stepped before, or play hooky if that is our chosen form or rebellion.
This revolutionary new Moon forms a challenging square to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn whose conjunction on the south lunar node over the next year defines this time and calls us to really examine how power is used in all its many forms, showing us the worst use of political power and personal authority, and calling us to find the best use. . . .
The Sun acts like the volume control on all the other aspects right now and it is in an unusually long quiet spell in an unusually cool cycle, or we’d probably have riots in the streets these days. With the Sun in a quiet spell, not active and flaring, it is hard to keep political change ignited. If the Sun follows its usual cycles, this will be changing in the months ahead, but we won’t know until it happens. . . .
Even with the fire of a new Moon in Aries, it can be hard to get our minds fully in gear for progress right now. Mercury, who symbolizes how we think and communicate, is still in sensitive Pisces and likes to daydream. . . .
We may feel unusually sensitive in our relationships, intuitive, but can also easily projects our fantasies upon one another rather than see each other clearly. So let’s check in with our beloveds and hear what’s going on in their inner worlds, rather than assuming we know.
On Saturday and Sunday an earthy Moon in Taurus helps us plant, nurture, and cultivate both our garden and our new relationships and ideas. On Sunday listen for positive serious announcements . . .
