Spring EquinoxThe Sun sits vertically above the equator, magnanimously giving all of us equal day and night, whether vernal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere or autumnal equinox in the Southern. She dances us to equilibrium, balancing light and dark . . .Susa Silvermarie © Mother Tongue Ink 2018 |

Freaking Brilliant . . . In my vision, in my dreamseed,
I am standing-still-rooted-running-dancing
rising-soaring-blossoming-shining
In a sunlit meadow
Drinking in, beaconing out,
The potent mix of all I can be, all I am
So, hold on, me:
Something freaking brilliant
is about to emerge . . . excerpt © Nell Aurelia 2015
Saturday the 16th, positive Moon Mars aspects give us give us strength, protectiveness, help us lift rocks, spark passion, establish clear boundaries. Supportive Moon Mercury aspects loan us speed and consciousness, the ability to think things through, help us bring our minds to any problem and find an answer. Sun trines the moon and supportive aspects ease the emotional realm . . .
Monday the 18th, challenging Moon/Venus aspects can bring social awkwardness, hot or cold emotions, longing, questionable aesthetics. Cure: perform a random act of kindness, diplomacy, art therapy.
Challenging Moon/Mars aspects instigate irritability, willfulness, anger, hurry, a competitive or contrary attitude. Cure: exercise, chop wood, take a brisk walk, acknowledge desires or frustrations, and then finesse that argument. Exercise awareness
Wednesday the 20th, Spring Equinox challenging Moon/Mercury aspects bring a tendency to get lost in the mind and inspire glitches in all things Mercurial; we can get more edgy, irritable, anxious, scattered, diffused, glib. Cure for Moon/Mercury discomfort: Reconnect mind and heart.
Supportive Moon/Mars aspects give us strength, protectiveness, help us lift rocks, spark passion, establish clear boundaries. Challenging aspects between the sun and the moon can create tension between how we feel and the events around us.
The Sun enters Aries (March 20–April 20) At many points in the last seven years, as Uranus moved through your sign, you probably wondered if you were having a stunning breakthrough or a nervous breakdown. But stress and anxiety are not the new normal, Aries. After one more flare up of activity and agitation in January and February you can get back to your baseline vitality—without the overwhelm. . . .Rhea Wolf © Mother Tongue Ink 2018 WM 2019 pg 71

As the weekend begins, we may feel pulled between a need to stay home and cozy and a desire to get out there and make connections. Some deeply urgent or important issues could tug at our heart and bring our emotions close to the surface. Over the weekend Mercury sextiles Pluto and Mars and encourages us to get past the surface and think deeply, find a saturnine- responsible approach to the problems of our time. We may also have the urge and the energy to reconnect old friends and make new contacts. The Moon enters outgoing Leo on Saturday night, fans our extroverted flame and encourages us to engage the world for a few days in an otherwise introverted month. On Monday night Moon enters industrious Virgo and brings us back to our work and worries, and asks us to tackle our to-do pile. Then the doors open, energy flows, new beginnings and new resistance springs up as the vernal equinox arrives on the full Moon this Wednesday. Welcome spring.
