Challenging aspects—square, semi-square, opposition, quincunx, semi sex-tile— can create complications, but often give us the energy to tackle a problem.
Supportiveaspects—conjunction, trine, sextile—assist, but are easier to ignore.
Sunday Mercury moves to Pisces: Mercury is our communication, travel and thought.
When in Pisces we experience introspection, imagination, sensitivity and intuition. We process and gestate our dreams.
Monday the Moon is Trine Venus: Do you need to be diplomatic? Nurture romance? Create? Choose supportive Moon/Venus aspects. They warm our hearts and add sociability, cuddliness, compassion, creativity and good taste.
Tuesday the Sun is Sq Moon: Solar aspects: The Sun progresses about a degree a day and makes its way through the 360° of the zodiac every year effecting different aspects. Solar aspects involve special and energetic relationships between the Sun and planets. We feel solar aspects building for 9 days before they peak, and resonating up to 7 days afterwards. The qualities of whatever planet the Sun aspects tinge the nature of this interaction, and all that pours through the filter of the Sun’s sign.
Moon phases are really a Sun-Moon relationship. The Sun energizes all Moon things: the public, nurturance, home, intimacy, habit, and the tides of emotion. Supportive aspects ease the emotional realm; challenging aspects can create tension between how we feel and the events around us.
Wednesday the Moon is Square Mercury: Challenging Moon/Mercury aspects bring a tendency to get lost in the mind and inspire glitches in all things Mercurial; we can get more edgy, irritable, anxious, scattered, diffused, glib. Cure for Moon/Mercury discomfort: Reconnect mind and heart.
Thursday Mars moves into Taurus: Mars is our will to act, initiative and ambition. When in Taurus sensual, rooted, nurturing, material manifestation. We slow down, get earthy, awaken our senses, begin to build form, roots, and stubborn strength.
Friday Moon is Sextile Mars:: Do you need to work out? Take a stand? Get physical? Supportive Moon/Mars aspects give us strength, protectiveness, help us lift rocks, spark passion, establish clear boundaries.excerptsHeather Roan Robbins‘ Sun Signs and Sun Transits from WM 2018 pg. 226 & Constellate with the Moon

Ready for change? The stars call for revolution. They create a high point of tension which can precipitate a change, and sparks planted this week will tend to catch fire, though they may smolder for a while first. Then the mood shift gears, takes the heat off, add stubbornness and loans endurance to shepherd those changes forward. It will help if we know what we’d like to change, and how we’d like to change it. Also, while the energy is this Sparky, enjoy it, but be cautious around explosive people and substance; think safe and powerful.
Some people will just want the situation different, they take this existential discomfort and project it on any pre-existing condition. But we can throw out a lot of wisdom in that process. There are plenty of problems in the world that really do need change, plenty of situations in our groups and organizations that really knew deep need to be revitalized, let’s direct this energy there rather than just try to put our stamp on things for sake of difference.
Feel that strong willful torque as motivating Mars approaches a conjunction with electrical Uranus on Tuesday, in the feisty sign of Aries. It stimulates not a Machiavellian manipulative kind of willfulness, just a straightforward, almost bulldozing willfulness which can work powerfully for good, or be really destructive, depending upon how it’s used. This motivation runs like a strong underground stream; to use this well, we have to be honest about what we want.
