Essential Oils for Hair Care

Mermaid Hair

The article on National Hair Day mentions 5 hair-raising facts and #5 is Hair today. Gone tomorrow.
People always freak out when they see a few strands on their brush. Fact is, a person can shed between 40 and 150 strands of hair a day!
That is astonishing! But most of that hair grows back daily. In my case, I was loosing handfuls of hair at a time. My hair was getting thinner and thinner to the point that I was becoming very concerned. I purchased several bottles of the highly advertised hair-growth shampoos and conditioners, but my hair loss was growing greater, not getting better!
One of my friends mentioned that she had started using essential oils in her shampoo, so I tried it. I figured I had nothing to lose but more hair! 🙂
I have been using Cedarwood, Lavender, and Rosemary essential oils in my shampoo for about a month now with great results. I have noticed new hair growth and am now only noticing the regular amount of hair in my brush, not the terrifying handfuls I was seeing! And I have had people complimenting me! I even think some of the gray is darkening or maybe the new hair is coming in at it’s true color??? 😘
