I listen to
the ancient tales

broadcast through

the antennae of trees.

I hear the songs

sung out loud by the birds

from their own beaks.

I directly witness the drama

of dandelion fields.

I skip movies

and pay attention to dreams…
Where I place my attention
sets the stage
for the action of my life.

In this season, no matter our age, we embrace our inner youth. This is a good time to journey or quest, learn new skills, practice the balance of self-care and care-giving. We seek the inspiration raging in our guts—our genius—that which is ours alone to manifest.

The Moon’s sign sets the emotional tone for the day. When in Leo life becomes performance art. We are more ready to reach out, be seen, and engage the comedy and tragedy of life, though we may have to turn down the melodrama. The vibe is extroverted, warm-hearted, romantic and engaged.
When a planet is in direct motion, planetary energies are more straightforward. Mercury relates to our communication, travel and thought. When in Cardinal Fire Aries it revivifies us after a long winter by reminding us who we are and what we want. We become more primal, direct, frank, open, and rebellious; our inner teenager comes alive, our adult self needs to direct the energy wisely. Mercury moves into earthy Taurus the 15th.

We have a few weeks of sparks ahead, so let’s see if we can help compassionate, creative ideas catch fire but soothe inflammations elsewhere. Venus re-enters direct, fiery Aries, where it was February 4 – April 3  and cranks the heat up on our emotional responses. Issues that excited or inflamed us in February will heat up again. We’ll tend to care passionately, one way or the other, about anything that catches our heart. . . .
Spring fever can ignite our interests in a passing fancy or fire new relationship. Parties and performance scan catch fire quickly, spontaneous moments of creative moments combust nicely. We care. we honestly do, and passionately if not with sensitivit. . . .
