Shadow Stalker: Escape Part 1 (Episode 11)

Author – Renee Scattergood

Description

Finally, it’s time to put the escape plan into action. Auren is relieved when the security system goes down as Makari promised. On her way to Shai’s cell, she learns the Galvadi suspect she is a shadow stalker, and they are on their way to her cell to test her. When they find it empty, they’ll know she has escaped. Auren is running out of time.

Auren and Shai’s escape doesn’t go as expected, and they have to continually adjust their plans, but they refuse to give up. They are pushed to their limits and Auren’s untried talents are put to the test. If Auren fails, they will both be recaptured, a fate worse than death.

Book Review

Author, Renee Scattergood’s, Shadow Stalker: Escape Part 1 (Episode 11) brings us another action filled story featuring the main character, Auren. Auren has had to wake up from her safe slumber and face her responsibilities. She learns some hard lessons. Now, that the Galvadi has taken over, Auren cannot expect guidance from her foster-father, Kado. She has to take action and remember what he taught her.

In Episode 11, Auren tries to make an escape, taking Shai, Kado’s daughter, with her. With a little help from Makari, Auren sets out on her mission. When things go awry, Auren finds herself using all her talents. Do they make it?

I loved that the prologue in this episode, tells us more about the events leading to the current situation. I highly recommend Shadow Stalker: Escape Part 1 (Episode 11) to all readers of science fiction and fantasy. If you have been following these Shadow Stalker episodes, this one is a ‘must’ read.
