Share Your World – 2014 Week 40

You’re given $500,000 dollars tax free (any currency), what do you spend it on?

We have been in need of a good truck for a while now, so the first thing I would do is purchase a F150 Ford Pickup Truck. Second, I would pay off some small debts. Third, hubby and I would build our yurt. We would put the rest in savings to help our grandchildren through college.

What’s the finest education?

I would love to have a PhD in Native American History

What kind of art is your favorite? Why?

I love all forms of art. It is all beautiful to me.

Is there something that you memorized long ago and still remember?

In kindergarten, I had to memorize the nursery rhyme, Little Boy Blue. I can still recite it from memory today. Of course, I’ve read many nursery rhymes to my children and grandchildren, including Little Boy Blue, which, no doubt, helped keep the rhyme fresh in my mind.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

My husband had been having problems with his right eye, so our family optometrist sent him to a retina specialist. The retina specialist found that my husband’s retina was tearing from his eye and set him up for surgery the very next morning. I’m thankful that we got to the root of the problem before the retina completely tore away from his eye; that would have caused blindness in the eye.

This week I’m looking forward to getting my stress tests out of the way. I will be glad to find out whether or not my chronic kidney disease has affected my heart.
