Share Your World – 2014 Week 18

What object do you always have with you when traveling and why?
Just one object? Well, it would have to be a suitcase full of necessary toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, facial moisturizer, body lotion, fingernail clippers, q-tips, comb, ponytail holders, a change of shoes, and a change of clothing.

What subject would you like to study in depth, if given the time to do so?
Ancient History

Which would you prefer: a wild, turbulent life filled with joy, sorrow, passion, and adventure–intoxicating successes and stunning setbacks; or a contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood?
I’ve had the wild, turbulent life filled with joy, sorrow, passion, adventure-intoxicating successes, and stunning setbacks. Now, I’m content, bordering on happy, fairly secure, predictable life, surrounded by family and friends, and mostly without wide swings of fortune and mood.

What are your favorite spices?
I have many favorite spices. I love them all. It would be easier to tell you my least favorite spice, turmeric. Everything else, I love. I use a lot of garlic powder, fresh garlic, onion powder, fresh onions of all types, Black Pepper, Red Pepper, fresh hot peppers, fresh or home-frozen bell peppers, ground sage, fresh sage, fresh mints, ground basil, fresh basil, and many more.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful that I was actually able to garden some over the weekend. That is an accomplishment I haven’t made in over three years.
I’m looking forward to a productive writing week.
