Gardening

Hubby, and I, have been out planting vegetable seeds, grass seed, and flower seed this morning. I was amazed, and very thankful, that I was able to actually get my hands in the dirt and do some gardening, for the first time in three years, or more.

We worked for a good two hours, before I grew tired and had to stop for the day. I give credit to my 9-month-old grandson for helping me get out more and to be more active.

Debra, Phoenix, and Rachel Planting a Garden April 2014

This picture was taken last Saturday, when I was helping my daughter plant her garden. Phoenix looks like he has a mouth full of dirt, but, actually he was about to cough, when mom took the picture. His allergies have been awful this spring, but he is starting to outgrow them.
