Share Your World – 2014 Week 17

What are some words that just make you smile?
Sunshine, Grandchildren, Family, Swimming, Ice Water, Fresh Veggies, Books, Writing, Coffee, Green Tea, and I know there are many more words, but my brain is not kicking in this morning…

When you lose electricity in a storm, do you light the candles or turn on the flashlight? How many of each do you own?
Candles. I have them in each room of the house. We do have several flashlights, but can never find one when it is needed.

What is the longest book you ever read?
DENEB by Pearson Moore – 808 pages

So you win a pet monkey at a fair, but this isn’t just any old monkey. It can do one trick for you whenever you want from getting a pop out of the fridge to washing your hair. What would be the trick?
Clean House

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am so grateful that a friend, that I hadn’t seen in several months, came to visit me. We had such a good time. I am, also, grateful that my youngest daughter asked me to help her plant a garden. It took us all day, but we had fun. My grandson had fun, too, playing in the freshly turned earth, with his bucket and shovel. I am grateful for a large family reunion we had. It was the first time, in a long time, that the Graves’ and Richey’s had a family reunion.
I’m looking forward to my doctor’s appointment this week, hoping my blood sugar levels will be low enough that maybe I can come off of the metformin.

  1. Those are all good words. I prefer candles, too. All the answers (so far) want the monkey to do housework–including mine! Praying you get a good report this week.
