N is for Nausea, Nervousness, and Neuralgia
Ginger, (Zingiber officinale), is a perennial herb native to tropical Asia. Ginger Essential Oil is steam distilled from the rhizome, (roots), of the herb. It is yellow in color and carries a spicy, warm aroma.
Ginger Essential Oil is very helpful for reducing nausea. Following is an Essential Oil Recipe to use when nauseated:
Add the following drops of Essential Oils to 1/4 ounce of your chosen Carrier Oil:
7 drops Ginger
4 drops Lavender
4 drops Peppermint
Swirl gently until all oils are thoroughly mixed.
Treatment for Nausea is by room vaporization, (place 3 to 5 drops of blend into water in an Aroma Lamp, Diffuser, or Oil Burner), bath, (add 8 to 10 drops of blend into the bath), and/or worn as a body perfume.
For Nervousness, try the following recipe:
Add the following essential oils to 1 ounce of your chosen carrier oil:
15 drops Carrot
15 drops Cedarwood
15 drops Cinnamon
Swirl gently until all oils are thoroughly mixed.
Place 3 to 5 drops of this blend into the dish of water on an Aroma Lamp, Diffuser, or Oil Burner. This blend may also be used in the bath, 8 to 10 drops, as a body massage, and/or worn as a body perfume.
If you suffer from Neuralgia, try the following recipe:
Add the following essential oils to 1/4 ounce of your chosen carrier oil:
25 drops Chamomile (Roman)
10 drops Lavender
10 drops Rose
Swirl gently until all oils are thoroughly mixed.
Treatment is by bath, 8 to 10 drops, foot soak, (5 to 8 drops). This blend can also be used as a massage oil.

Good to know. A niece of mind gets severe car sickness, and among other things the doctor recommended ginger.
