C is for Colds, Concentration, and Cystitis

Rosemary Essential Oil, (Rosmarinus officinalis), comes from a small shrub. The Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves. It is colorless with a refreshing Camphorous aroma. It is a good oil for common colds and concentration.

For colds, try the following recipe:
Add the following Essential Oils to 1/4 ounce of your chosen Carrier Oil:
4 drops Benzoin
4 drops Cajeput
7 drops Rosemary
Swirl gently until all oils are thoroughly mixed. Place 3 to 5 drops of this blend to water in an Aroma Lamp, Diffuser, or Oil Burner. This blend can also be used as a steam inhalation; Place 6 to 8 drops of blend to boiling water poured into a medium-size bowl. Place a towel over you head and the bowl; breathe deep. Use this blend as a chest and upper back massage and/or place 8 to 10 drops of blend into a warm bath.

  1. Oh lord, will that “concentration” recipe work for when my husband is on one side of me and my daughter is on the other side and neither of them will stop talking even though they can CLEARLY SEE that I’m busy?

    Just wondering. lol
