Daily Prompt: Moments to Remember

Daily Prompt: Moments to Remember
by Krista on March 25, 2014

What are the three most memorable moments — good or bad, happy or sad — in your life? Go!

~~~~~~~~
Fifty-plus years, I have been granted thus far. During all those years, I have experienced many memorable moments, both good and bad; happy and sad. It is the good and happy that I wish to concentrate on now, but to choose only three…
Although all of my grandchildren’s births were memorable moments, I would have to say the birth of my first grandchild was the most memorable. The wonder and the awe is humbling. Watching this perfect little being come into the world and drawing her first breath is nothing short of a miracle; a miracle to be grateful for.
When I finally obtained a college degree, was a memorable moment. Even though it was only an Associate’s Degree, I was very proud; proud that I had persevered.
The marriage ceremony that bound my second marriage. I was completely overwhelmed with joy that I had met a man that loved me and wanted to marry me, so that he could take care of me. That meant so much to me. I cried the entire time. I just couldn’t believe it.
Those are just a few of the good and happy memorable moments in my life.
  1. What wonderful moments to remember. I have to say grandchildren are great. I have a soon to be 4 year old granddaughter and I enjoy her.
    You should be very proud of your degree. It takes strength, dedication and perseverance to obtain that degree.
    So glad you met a wonderful person to spend the rest of your life with.
    Thanks for sharing
