Daily Prompt: Never Surrender

Are you stubborn as a grass stain or as easy going as a light breeze on a warm day? Tell us about the ways in which you’re stubborn — which issues make you dig your heels in and refuse to budge?
I can be as stubborn as a grass stain or as easy going as a light breeze on a warm day. Mostly, I’m as easy going as a light breeze on a warm day. However, I can be very stubborn on some issues.
There are not many issues that I refuse to budge on. I will change my bad habits to be able to visit with my grandchildren, but I dig my heels in when it comes to my right to do as I please in my own home.
I consider myself to be an ultra liberal democrat and will not budge on many issues. I believe everyone has a right to his, or her, own body and it is not anyone else’s place to criticize, judge, or ‘be a busy body’ about the issue.
In fact, I would say that most of my ‘stubborn streaks’ have an underlying political and/or spiritual belief behind them. I try to avoid conflict, so most of the time I just keep my opinions to myself.
