Ah, sweet nostalgia! Dear Daily Prompt, I have poured my heart and soul out to you, with my chosen music, on several occasions. Together we have been back to my earliest childhood memories and how music has played a role in my young life. Now, I give you my true heart and soul with the music that evokes true love in my memories.

My one true love often sang this song to me. It definitely fit our romance at that time. He was a truck driver and I didn’t see him but once or twice a month; sometimes he would be home for days. He was the center of my life, even when he was not near; and my sweet, sweet love when he was near.
The following song floods me with memories of him, how we loved, and how much I still love him to this day.

When I hear this song, it takes me back to a time when I loved so hard and clung to him for dear life. He was my life, my soul mate, and so much a part of me for nearly fifteen years. He was a free spirit. How quickly and quietly he slipped away from me, leaving an everlasting pain.

My last song reminds me of my grandmother. The song gives me hope that her spirit lives on. I love you, grandma!
