Share Your World – 2014 Week 5

If you had a choice to live anywhere would be your preference salt water beaches, forest, fresh water lakes, hot tub, ski resort or desert?
I would definitely want a beach house just off the coast; preferably Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Alabama.

What was your favorite toy as a child . . . and now?
As a child, I loved my paper dolls. I would even cut them out of catalogs and magazines. I think I played with paper dolls until I was around 14 to 15 years old.
Now, my favorite toys are my laptop and camera. I also love stuffed animals, still, at age 50 plus!

Which do you prefer sweet, salty or both at the same time?
I crave salty some of the time, sweets most of the time, and both at the same time frequently. Being a diabetic with high blood pressure and chronic kidney disease, I’m not supposed to have either, but sometimes, I give myself a treat.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?
No snowy winters. No cold winters. I don’t like the cold, hence my first answer of living off the coast.

    1. Paper dolls were still on-scene when I was growing up…. But barbies were a big thing as well… I remember them being popular with one of my step-sisters (5 years younger)

    1. Very few. My daughters were never interested in them. I found some about six years ago and purchased them for my granddaughters. They had no interest either. Maybe great-granddaughters? 🙂
