If you could persuade people to do one thing right now, what would it be?
~~~~~~~~
If I could persuade people to do one thing, right now, it would be to open their eyes to the destruction humanity is wreaking on Mother Earth. People say, “I don’t believe in Global Warming.” All they have to do is take a look at the crazy winter weather we are having this season, to see that something is not right.
The pollution of our waters, the cutting down of trees to make room for malls and more developments, the fracking, and more are all a part of the havoc humanity is wreaking on Mother Earth. How much more can she take?
Think of your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc…What is going to be left for them?
“Seven generation sustainability is an ecological concept that urges the current generation of humans to live sustainably and work for the benefit of the seventh generation into the future. It originated with the Iroquois – Great Law of the Iroquois – which holds appropriate to think seven generations ahead (about 140 years into the future) and decide whether the decisions they make today would benefit their children seven generations into the future.”
