Daily Prompt: Learning Style

What’s your learning style? Do you prefer learning in a group and in an interactive setting? Or one-on-one? Do you retain information best through lectures, or visuals, or simply by reading books?

I think I have a very thick skull. I have to hear it, read it, write it, and re-read it to get it to stay in my brain. In a group setting, I get the benefit of some healthy competition. Interacting helps me learn, and I do well in an one-on-one setting.
Seldom, do I retain information from one learning style. It has to be drilled into my thick skull, by various methods, before it sticks.

I think it has a lot to do with what you’re trying to learn. I much prefer the solitude of self-study but I do enjoy having people around in, say a creative writing group.

I enjoy the solitude of self-study, but I still have to read it, write it, and re-read it to remember it. 🙂
