Today’s Aromatherapy Tip of the Day: December 1, 2013 is Heaven Scent.

HEAVEN SCENT

For ages, people have always used fragrance to contact the spiritual realms. Fragrance helps the mind to concentrate and focus. It relaxes the body and mind and opens the heart to receive. It creates a link between the conscious and unconscious mind, allowing a chain of events to come forth. Fragrance expands the space between thoughts, the space that leads one to the oneness of the universe.
Which essential oils you use for spiritual purposes is very much up to you. Spirituality is a personal journey, and a matter of personal choice. Each fragrance suggested is only that, a suggestion. For each person, a fragrance will resonate at a different tone and rate. Find which essential oils or blends resonate with you.
You may have a favorite essential oil that you use in your daily life. For spiritual purposes, choose something new and different, something that can lift you from your ordinary existence into the realm of the spiritual.
For those who like to walk through woods, essential oils extracted from trees may appeal to you. These include, but are not limited to:
Cedarwood, Cypress, Ho-wood, Juniper, Pine, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Silver Fir, or Spruce.
Experiment with these essential oils, first one by one, to see which, if any, resonate with you.

We will discuss more Heaven Scent essential oils, next.
