November 2013 ~ NaBloPoMo ~ #30

BITTERSWEET NOVEMBER

Looking back on this last day of November and the last day of NaBloPoMo, I can see that I made mistakes, but I learned also. November has been a whirlwind. Right after signing up for NaBloPoMo, my doctor’s found not one, but two, new chronic illnesses; Chronic Kidney Disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis. This turned into a lot of tests and more doctor visits for November.
I thoroughly enjoyed NaBloPoMo. I started a bit late and ended up playing catch-up for most of the month. I’m thankful for NaBloPoMo, because it gave me something to concentrate on; something to keep my mind busy, so I didn’t worry about everything that was happening around me.
More than likely, I will not participate in a meme for December; there is just too much to get done during the count down to Christmas. Plus, I have more doctor appointments, more tests, and in addition, more shopping, wrapping, cooking, etc…
I’m sure you will see me poking my head in, when I can, taking a look around BlogHer and posting on my BlogHer page.

  1. Jumped gun on “post comment” button…. Enjoy reading your blogs, Debbie.

Hope all turns out for the best in terms of the 2 illnesses/diseases. Not really good with comforting words, thoughts/prayers, etc.

    1. Thank you. I enjoy reading your posts, too. Are you going to do April A-Z? I’m looking forward to it. Maybe things will have settled back down by then.
I’m taking an optimistic view on my health problems. Thank you for your words.
