Today’s Aromatherapy Tip of the Day: October 27, 2013 is Creams and Lotions.
CREAMS AND LOTIONS
You can make your own creams and lotions. Purchase an un-scented cream or lotion that is plant-based; make sure it is lanolin free. Add a small amount of avocado, jojoba, or peach carrier oil, to make a more nourishing blend. For problem skin, add a few drops of evening primrose carrier oil.
Creams and lotions, with added essential oils, can be used for various skin problems: Athlete’s foot, Cold sores, Dry skin, eczema, minor cuts, psoriasis, rashes, sunburn, and others.
Essential oils to use: Benzoin, Cedarwood, Geranium, Lavender, Myrrh, Roman Chamomile, Sandalwood, Tea Tree, and more.
Check Back Tomorrow for Neat Application.
