Daily Prompt: ______ is the new ______

Click over to your favorite blog, and pick out the 4th and 14th words (that aren’t “the” or “an”). Drop them into this phrase:

“_____ is the new _____.”
Honor is the new peace.

There’s your post title. Now write!

Honor is the New Peace

Society as a whole shows a lack of Moral Standards. Common courtesy does not exist anymore. Human Kindness has been taken over by our own selfish nature. History has proven that when moral standards are lost, whole civilizations destroy themselves.
To bring Universal Peace, we must start with ourselves; take a look at our own moral standards.
1 Honor
Honor is defined by the dictionary as:
“Honesty, fairness, or integrity in one’s beliefs and actions”
“a source of credit or distinction”
“high respect, as for worth, merit, or rank”
Another way to define honor is: “Honor is deemed to be exactly what determines a person’s character.”
How would you deem your own character? Are you charitable? Do you have courage? Are you honest? Are you humble? Are you pure in mind, body, and spirit? Do you respect yourself? Are you wise?
I have written articles on most of these characteristic traits. You can find them at: https://mauldinfamily1.wordpress.com/category/happy-note/page/3/ and older pages.
Can you answer ‘yes’ to the above questions? If not, work on these traits until you can comfortably answer ‘yes’ to all of them. You have to love, respect, honor yourself, and be totally in peace with yourself before beginning to work on Universal Peace.
