Today’s Aromatherapy Tip of the Day: October 6, 2013 is Clary Sage Essential Oil Recipes for Muscular Disorders.

MUSCULAR DISORDERS

Relieve Tense Muscles Recipe
Blend Together:
1 Ounce Carrier Oil
15 drops Camphor Essential Oil
15 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil
15 drops Lemongrass Essential Oil
Shake well before each use.

Treatment is by Bath: Add 15 to 18 drops of blend to warm bath and soak 20 to 30 minutes.
Compress: Add 7 to 10 drops of blend on hot compress and place on Tense Muscle/Muscles
Massage: Place 10 to 15 drops in palm of hand and massage area on Tense Muscle/Muscles adding drops as needed.
Use circular motions.
Use every day as needed. Compress can be used twice a day.

Relieve Tired Muscles Recipe I
Blend Together:
1 Ounce Carrier Oil
15 drops Basil Essential Oil
15 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil
15 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
Shake well before each use.

Treatment is by Bath: Add 15 to 18 drops of blend to warm bath and soak 20 to 30 minutes.
Compress: Add 7 to 10 drops of blend on hot compress and place on Tired Muscle/Muscles
Massage: Place 10 to 15 drops in palm of hand and massage area on Tired Muscle/Muscles adding drops as needed.
Use circular motions.
Use every day as needed. Compress can be used twice a day.

15 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
15 drops Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
Shake well before each use.

Treatment is by Bath: Add 15 to 18 drops of blend to warm bath and soak 20 to 30 minutes.
Compress: Add 7 to 10 drops of blend on hot compress and place on Muscle/Muscles Spasms
Massage: Place 10 to 15 drops in palm of hand and gently massage area on Muscle/Muscles Spasms adding drops as needed.
Use downward motions.
Use as needed.

Sprains Recipe
Blend Together:
1 Ounce Carrier Oil
15 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil
15 drops Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
15 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
Shake well before each use.

Treatment is by Bath: Add 15 to 18 drops of blend to warm bath and soak area of Sprain/Sprains 20 to 30 minutes.
Compress: Add 7 to 10 drops of blend on hot compress and place on area Sprain/Sprains.
Massage: Place 10 to 15 drops in palm of hand and gently massage area on Sprain/Sprains adding drops as needed.
Use carefully upward motions.
Use as needed.
