WOUND SKIN CARE

Essential Oils can be used to promote healing of minor wounds.

1. Bruises: Helichrysum, Myrrh, Vetiver
2. Burns: Geranium, German Chamomile, Helichrysum, Lavender, Rosewood, Sweet Marjoram, Tea Tree
3. Infected Wounds: Niaouli, Tea Tree
4. Insect Bites: Basil, Lavender, Tea Tree
5. Open Wounds: Lavender, Tea Tree
6. Scarring: Carrot Seed, Frankincense, Helichrysum, Lavender, Lemon, Rosewood

WOUND SKIN-CARE OIL

What you will need:
Glass Measuring Cup (To be used for Aromatherapy Recipes Only)
Measuring Spoons (Preferably Aluminum, Glass, or Stainless Steel to be used for Aromatherapy Recipes Only)
A small Dropper (To be used for Aromatherapy Recipes Only)
An empty 1-ounce Amber Glass Bottle
Label
Calendula Essential Oil
Carrot Seed Essential Oil
Lavender Essential Oil
Helichrysum Essential Oil
Niaouli Essential Oil
Rosehip Seed Carrier Oil
Vitamin E Oil
*NOTE* Purchase Vitamin E Dietary Supplement Gel Capsules. Cut open the gel capsule to get the essential oil out.

RECIPE

Wound Skin Care Oil Recipe
Makes 1 Ounce (30 ml)

Blend Together
22 to 25 drops Lavender Essential Oil
5 drops Helichrysum Essential Oil
10 drops Niaouli Essential Oil
5 drops Carrot Seed Essential Oil
1 Tablespoon (15 ml) Calendula Essential Oil
1 Tablespoon (15 ml) Rosehip Seed Carrier Oil
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) Vitamin E Oil
Shake Well.

Scar Tissue and/or Minor Burns – Apply with clean hands.

Open Wounds – Clean the wound. Apply 2 drops Lavender Essential Oil (NEAT) to gauze, then dress the wound/wounds.

Use compresses on Bruises, Infected Wounds, and Insect Bites.

Bruises
Blend Together
1 Ounce Carrier Oil
15 drops Helichrysum Essential Oil
15 drops Myrrh Essential Oil
15 drops Vetiver
Shake Well.
Depending on size of bruise, Add 5 drops of blend on cold compress for small wound, 10 to 15 drops for a medium bruise, and 30+ on large bruise. Refresh compress when needed.

Infected Wounds
Blend Together
1 Ounce Carrier Oil
22 to 25 drops Niaouli Essential Oil
22 to 25 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
Shake Well.
Apply 5 drops of blend on gauze (For a Small Infected Wound) then dress the wound; 10 to 15 drops for a medium sized infected wound, and 30+ for large areas of infected wound/wounds.
Change dressing often, at least 4 times a day or every 6 hours, as needed.

Insect Bites or Stings
Blend Together
1 ounce Carrier Oil
15 drops Basil Essential Oil
15 drops Lavender Essential Oil
15 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
Shake Well.
Apply 5 to 8 drops of Blend to one end of a Q-Tip and swab the bite or sting until the pain goes away.
