Share Your World – 2013 Week 24

If you had to eat only three meals/food for one month, what would you choose?
Bananas, Bread, and Peanut Butter

For your main meal do you prefer sweet and sour, hot and spicy, spicy and sweet, bitter, salty, bland or other?
Most of my meals are bland. I can’t have sweet due to my Diabetes. I can’t have salt because of my High Blood Pressure. I can only eat a small amount of protein due to my kidney disease. That doesn’t leave much. I would like to be able to eat it all.

Do you prefer eating things with nuts or no nuts?
I’m nutty and I love nuts of all kinds.

For potlucks or parties do you cook it yourself, buy from a grocery store, or pay for catering?
I have to cook it to ensure that I can safely eat it, but I much prefer buying it at a grocery store or having it catered.

  1. That’s a bummer about you having to eat bland food. I don’t add a lot of salt to things but there are some things that just aren’t good without a little pinch.

      1. I know exactly what you mean; I have a lot of dietary restrictions too & watching other people eat things can be like torture! I’ve experimented a lot though & now I have my own favourite dishes.

  2. My food is fairly restricted by heath issues too. But fortunately mine is getting much better these days and I can actually eat more variety. I enjoyed your answers this week!

  3. Bananas, bread and peanut butter. I could live on that for awhile. I have to watch the salt and sugars somewhat, but I love nuts. I guess that makes us both nutty! 🙂 Sometimes I think it would be nice to eat whatever I want, but there’s so much that just isn’t good for our bodies.
