Why Aromas are Important to the Story.
I would like to know the answer to these questions too.
Are you scent-sitive?
Do you associate certain times in your life or emotions with a particular aroma?
Where do you rank fragrance and odor in setting the scene?
Please place your answers in the comments section. Thank you.

I am very scent sensitive. The smell of whiskey makes me sick to my stomach and I get extremely anxious.

You need to find a scent that is relaxing for you and keep it with you all the time. 🙂

Do you have any recommendations? I have a lot of allergies so anything musky or strong makes me sneeze and sometimes wheeze.

I am scent sensitive. Scent and emotion go hand in hand. Aroma invokes memory and helps ground the now.

words4jp, I would recommend Lavender and/or chamomile essential oils. Both of these are great for relaxation and are very light scents. I would start with 2 drops, and increase from there, if needed.
