Is there a painting or sculpture you’re drawn to? What does it say to you? Describe the experience. (Or, if art doesn’t speak to you, tell us why.)
I love art! All art speaks to me; some louder that others. I prefer Ancient, Medieval, and Renaissance over Modern, Contemporary Art. Although, I do like Surrealism. In art, like most everything else, I have very eclectic taste.

One of my favorites is Egyptian art. When our girls were growing up, we home schooled and spent lots of time at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The mummies were the hands-down favorites.

My favourite sculpture or should I say statue is called “The Victory of Semothrace” and is held permanently in the Louvre. It is from the Hellenic period and was found in the Agean Sea. Originally the prow of a ship, it speaks of sensuality, female power and grace. 🙂
