Daily Prompt: It’s a Text, Text, Text, Text World

How do you communicate differently online than in person, if at all? How do you communicate emotion and intent in a purely written medium?

I’m probably more open online than in person. There are very few people, in my life, that I trust enough to talk openly with.
I use a lot of smiley faces to show when I’m joking, rather than being serious.

  1. I am exactly the same way!
    I also find I use a lot of exclamation marks in an attempt to not sound “bored”. You know, “Yea, cool” could sound unimpressed “Yea cool!” sounds more enthusiastic lol I’m all about the exclamation marks…!!
