Let’s Think (Day 6)

Lets Think! (Day 6)
Posted by Project FireStarter on April 9, 2013

Hey Firestarters!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day! I’m sorry for not posting really, school takes a lot of my time and energy but I’ll find time to get on here and put something new out every once in a while!
Lets Think About…
If you could go back in time 3 years what advice would you give to yourself? Or would you stop yourself from making a mistake you’ll regret later?
Me personally, If I went back three years I would be 14, at that time in my life I was stricken with depression, social anxiety and a lot of anger problems. If I could go back three years I would talk tell myself that everything will work out and there’s always light at the end of the tunnel, I guess because I never had anyone to comfort me or help me through the tough times of growing up I just gave into the negatives. So I would go back and give myself the confidence and strength that I have now and hope that I listen haha.
Leave a comment if you would like to tell us what you would do if you can go back three years and change something about yourself.
I leave you with a comment from President Barack Obama
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change we seek.

My thoughts:
If I could go back 3 years, I don’t think I would change anything. All my health problems were already there, so I couldn’t change my habits or avoid my health problems. The one thing I would change was that I was taking classes at that time for medical transcription. If I could go back, I would not take those classes. I would have started working on my writing, but at that time, it wasn’t even in my thought process to take up writing again. I guess life works to it’s own rhythm. There is no rhyme or reason.

      1. It is all good. Like water off of a duck’s back. Take a chill pill. Relax. Don’t take yourself too seriously.
By the way, thanks for pointing me in the right direction (I am not too savvy with WordPress).
