Daily Prompt: Press It

Give some love to three blog posts you’ve read and loved in the past week, and tell us why they’re worth reading.

I love all the blog posts I read and would love to give a shout-out to all, but I have managed to taper it down to three of my favorites.

1. ‘Be Leery of the Eerie’ by FariesAngelsNurses at: https://fairiesangelsnurses.wordpress.com/2013/04/07/be-leery-of-the-eerie/
I have long been a fan of this blog. Mary Anne writes some beautiful poetry and I love her photos. She brings a bit of New York to me with each post.
This particular post is ‘right down my alley’. I love suspense and all things eerie. If you like short, to the point poetry, you should give this blog post a read. If you like photos that go with a poem, you should give this blog post a read. If you don’t visit this post, you’re probably a redneck. Just kidding. 🙂 I couldn’t resist. Seriously, read this blog post and let me know what you think.
Love to Mary Anne at https.//fairiesangelsnurses.wordpress.com

2. ‘Prompts for the Promptless – Ep. 8 – The Litmus’ by rarasaur at: http://rarasaur.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/prompts-for-the-promptless-ep-8-the-litmus/
I have been following rarasaur for some time now. I love the ‘Prompts for the Promptless’ that she hosts every week. I get to learn new words and new meanings. I also get to do a post on each prompt from my perspective. I know my writing is better for it.
This particular blog post taught me a lot. I had never heard of The Litmus Tests, (hanging my head in shame). During my research, I learned a lot about Litmus tests; even some that I did know but had never heard them called Litmus. There is still time to sign-up and post your own ‘Prompts for the Promptless’. Rarasaur gives options, along with the prompts, that ensures there is a venue for every blogger. Give this blog post a read and hopefully you will join us in our weekly pursuits.
Love to rarasaur, who makes it all possible, at: http://rarasaur.wordpress.com

3. Last, but not least, is, ‘Photo of the Week: 4’ at: http://projectfirestarter.wordpress.com/2013/04/07/photo-of-the-week-4/
Jacob has made an incredible impact with his blog, http://projectfirestarter.wordpress.com He started this blog in February 2013 and now has 46 followers and 525 visits. Jacob has a very good project going with the FireStarters. Check it out and share it with all you know.
Jacob’s words: Hello World, my name is Jacob And this is Project FireStarter
I am starting Project FireStarter as a way to help those in need of support, inspiration, or guidance. Growing up wasn’t easy for me, I was born with a disease that caused me to not walk very well and caused me to fall down a lot, (CMT I believe it’s called). I got bullied and teased relentlessly growing up getting called “crippled” instead of being called by my name. I never really had any friends until my 10th grade year in high school, that’s when I broke out of my shell and started becoming confident in myself and attempting to make a difference in the world around me.
I have been waiting on this moment for 10 years now, The moment when I can change the world and make it a better and safer place for us and our future generations. Me, and some of my close friends, will post on this blog and attempt to inspire you to become a better person and to bring people to see the greatness that is in each and every one of us.
This post is just a short introduction to this Project..please keep checking in to see newer posts in the near future. share this with you’re friends and family to spread the joy
“Always continue the climb. It is possible for you to do whatever you choose, if you first get to know who you are and are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it”.
-Ella Wheeler Wilcox
I loved this particular blog post, ‘Photo of the Week: 4’, because of it’s simplicity and it’s message. Please read it and see if it resonates with you. Visit and join Project FireStarter today.
Love to Jacob for being true to himself and allowing me to be a part of Project FireStarter.
