For ‘Black’ we are going to take a look at some Black Fruits. We know from previous posts that the color black is associated with balance. Keeping the body in good nutrition balance helps us stay healthy. Eating dark colored fruit offers many health benefits. Anthocyanins are flavonoid category of poly-phenolic compounds found in dark colored fruits. These compounds contain anti-oxidants that offer protection against aging, cancers, and infections.
Black Fruits include: Blackberries, Black Cherries, Black Currants, Black Grapes, Mulberries, and many more.

Is eggplant a fruit (of the eggplant plant….)? Is it black? Just wondering. 🙂
