For ‘Purple’ we are going to take a look at some Purple Fruits. We know from past posts that the color purple is a balancing color. Purple Fruits contain fiber, flavonoids, vitamin C, and other nutrients. Studies show that purple fruits have a higher antioxidant concentration. Purple fruits, also, act as an anticarcinogen. Purple Fruits help lower cholesterol, limit cancer cells, aid in digestion, reduce inflammation, improve mineral absorption, and balances the whole system.
Examples of Purple Fruits include: Black Currants, Blackberries, Grapes, Plums, and Pomegranates.
Black Currants are a healthy purple fruit. They are rich in vitamin C and contain uncommon omega-6 fatty acids. Black Currants can be in the form of jams, jellies, and juice.
