Hope everyone has a great Ruby Red Day! This week’s theme in colors is going to be fruits. This suggestion came from dj at: http://djdblogginghere.wordpress.com/
If you have an idea or suggestion for something you would like to see featured in Weekly Colors, please comment in the comments section. I look forward to hearing from you!
For ‘Ruby Red Day’ we are going to take a look at some Red Fruits. We know, from previous Ruby Red posts, that Red symbolizes Power and Vitality. The color Red, also, assists in Blood Circulation and Detoxifies the body. Red Fruits contain Vitamin A and Vitamin C, both powerful anitoxidants. Red Fruits contain many nutrients that helps support joint tissue in arthritic joints, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, and reduce the risk of some cancers.
Red Fruits include: Red Apples, Cherries, Cranberries, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Watermelons, and many more. How many more Red Fruits can you name?

Looks like you have a photo of red currants; there are also goji berries, raspberries. Maybe some plums are red? And some varieties of grape.
They had a special price on some strawberries today so I got some even though I tend to favor local producers and these were from Spain. I thought maybe they came on too fast and would be a loss if not sold.
