Lets Think! (Day 2)
Posted by Project FireStarter on March 31, 2013
Hey Firestarters!
Sorry for putting this post up this late, I have a bad tendency of putting things off until the last second. Procrastination happens to the best of us, we have passion to accomplish something but our laziness holds us back, or maybe we just don’t feel like doing whatever it is we’re supposed to do.
Whens a time that you have procrastinated? Leave a comment below if you want to share you’re experience! Or just think to yourself and think on how you can fight the urge to put stuff off.
I leave you with this quote by Norman Vincent Peale, and as always, have a wonderful and fulfilling day everybody!
Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

Procrastination! I am pretty good at it. I try not to be, but as I find myself getting older, I’m also getting slower. I don’t look at procrastination as being lazy. It holds us back. It holds us firmly to our seat. I sense that there is some fear behind procrastination. What are we scared will happen if we go forth successfully? What are we afraid of if we get up out of our seats and begin?
As Norman Vincent Peale said in his quote above, I do think that the first step in overcoming your fear or procrastination is to believe in yourself. Believe in yourself and have faith in your abilities! I know this is easier said than done, but keep trying. You will find your way back to the discipline needed to get important work done and out of the way. Then you will be able to do the less stressful jobs and enjoy them, rather than feel afraid.

For me, procrastination is linked to laziness and inertia.
