Mellow Yellows

Hope everyone is having a Happy Day filled with Mellow Yellows! This week’s theme in colors is going to be fruits. This suggestion comes from dj at: http://djdblogginghere.wordpress.com/
If you have an idea or suggestion for something you would like to see featured in Weekly Colors, please comment in the comments section. I look forward to hearing from you!
Today, for ‘Mellow Yellows’, we are going to take a look at some Yellow Fruits. The color yellow represents happiness, hope, and joy. Yellow is also a mood booster. When you eat yellow fruits, you are nourishing your body, mind, and soul with Mother Nature’s health benefits.
Yellow fruits are nutritional powerhouses teeming with antioxidants and vitamin C. They help keep the skin healthy and build strong bones and teeth.
Yellow fruits include: lemons, pineapple, star fruit, and bananas.

I was not aware this fruit existed until a couple of months ago. My husband bought a couple at the grocery store and brought them home for us to try. They were delicious! Kind of a cross between and apple and pear in taste and texture. If you have not eaten one, I encourage you to try it!

This one is my favorite Monday Mellow Yellow Fruit!
