Today will be our last day to discuss Faeries. We will be discussing the ‘Brown Faeries’ or ‘Brownies’, as they are sometimes called. Brownies are the best known of all Faeries. Their homeland is Scotland, but over the years they have spread all over the world. They are loyal, noble, and trustworthy, making them good friends to have. They like to be called, ‘The Good People’.

Brownies are small and thin, with brown hair. Their long fingers make them good artisans.

They are honest and good-natured and will gladly bestow gifts of comfort and security upon the ones they love. All they ask in return is a bit of bread and milk.
Brownies detest cheats, greedy people, and liars.

Brown Faeries are very intelligent and can often be found near owls. They are merry and love to sing and dance. Brownies prefer shade to sun and will sometimes sleep all day and play all night.

They may grow close to a family and choose to live with, or near, to them.
