Today we are going to talk about, (can you guess?), the gemstone, Ruby. Rubies are the scarcest of all gemstones. Their red aura make rubies look bigger than they are.

The name ‘Ruby’ comes from the Latin word for red, ruber. It is considered to be one of the four precious stones, which includes the diamond, emerald, and sapphire.
Ruby was considered ‘The King of Gems’ to the ancients. It symbolized power and vitality. Warriors used Ruby in their breast plates and some warriors embedded rubies into their skin for courage and protection during battle. Ruby was often used as a talisman to ward off danger, evil, and bad dreams.
The healing powers of Ruby are to assist in blood circulation and detoxify the body.
