In taking up paper and pen, and reentering the world of writing, I decided to pursue short story submissions in contests. This is my greatest intention for now.
I am writing a novel, but I find that writing and submitting short stories is my certain advantage. Even writing a blog has certain advantages: communicating with my fellow bloggers, learning from my fellow bloggers, and gaining greater access to publishers.
Writing my novel is my main goal, but I think writing short stories has the advantage.

Who have you submitted your short stories to so far? I’ve been thinking about following a similar sort of path – submtting short stories for publication – but haven’t done much of the research behind the who and how of it all yet.

I posted all of them earlier, but can’t remember exactly when or where. I will find them and repost, although the deadline on all of them are past. I will put up some new ones this week that I’m currently working on. 🙂
