Describe your relationship with your phone. Is it your lifeline, a buzzing nuisance, or something in between?
My relationship with my phone is a love/hate relationship. I love that I can keep in touch with my loved ones and friends, but I don’t like talking on the phone for very long. I simply do not have the patience to sit and chat for very long. There is always something running through my mind that needs to be done.
I hate for the phone to ring and interrupt me while I’m writing, but I don’t want to disconnect or turn the ringer off in case of emergencies.
Unless it is an emergency, I much prefer email and messages. I can get to them when I can.
I can remember having long talks on the phone in my younger days, but I guess I’m just all talked out now and much prefer silence.
I feel the same way about the phone! I love the get-to-it-when-you-can convenience of emails. Unfortunately, some of my friends don’t like to communicate that way…and, sadly, they are the ones I don’t keep in touch with. I just can’t bring myself to put that phone to my ear.

I prefer texts over calls. Brief, to the point. If they want to have a real long conversation, they can come on over, and we’ll talk over coffee.

I prefer e-mail. It is convenient anytime of day or night, no matter which time zone.
